電子產品可致失眠?


電子設備愈來愈先進、方便,網上可提供的內容變得越來越豐富精采。因此,有些家長會讓子女使用便攜式電子產品,如平板電腦、智能手機等。可是,這些便攜式電子產品如何影響我們以至兒童的睡眠,你可知道嗎?

在美國有一項大型研究顯示,小至0-1歲的孩子花越多時間在便攜式電子產品上,睡眠時間就越少,甚至呈現睡眠不足。不論使用這些電子產品作任何用途,都可有損睡眠質素。

便攜式電子設備影響睡眠的原因之一,是螢幕散發的藍光。有研究發現,電子設備的螢幕所發出的藍光會減少產生睡意的褪黑色素(melatonin),從而減低睡意。使用電子設備的時間愈長,所產生的褪黑色素就會越少。


因此,不論是子女還是成年人,為了改善睡眠質素,睡前儘量少用會散發藍光的電子設備、安心睡個好覺吧。
