Music Neuropsychological Training
The music neuropsychological training is a program that integrates neuroscience research and neuropsychological theories for training various cognitive functions by means of music.
The goals of the training program are to improve the abilities of children with SEN in the following areas:

attention (being aware of the surroundings)

emotional processing (experiencing and expressing different feelings)
-
social communication (interacting reciprocally with others)
-
self-control (exercising discipline and patience)
-
basic music knowledge (pitch/tonality, rhythm/tempo)
-
exposure to and appreciation of music
Characteristics of the music neuropsychological training:

The training composes of interactive musical activity and passive music appreciation

Children who have participated in this training usually enjoy the process of training because the activities involved are interactive and relaxing
-
Some children show positive changes in their socialisation skills, emotional regulation, attention and impulse control ability after training
-
It can run in a group of about 10 children
